1.Loading of raw material into tank:

Raw material is poured into siphon, and passed through screening devices for elimination of impurities.  Each kind of raw material is contained in a separate tank.

2. Preliminary weighing and mixing

Prior to being loaded into mixing tank, raw material of each kind are weighed and measured to the required scales as stipulated in the production formulas.  The mixture is then carried by conveyor belt to the coarse mixing tank with the quantity of 2 metric ton per batch. Time for the primary mixing is 5 minutes.

3. Coarse grinding – Fine grinding and Mixing

All types of raw material after preliminary mixing will be sent to coarse grinding machine. The screening net with mesh opening dimension of 0.6mm to 1mm is used in this step (according to each type of raw material).  After the coarse grinding stage, the raw material is passed to the next screening step for classification of raw material.

Grinded raw material of inappropriate dimensions will be sent to the grinding step for the second time.  The conveyor belt will carry the raw material to fine grinding machine and then to the rotary screening system. Screening net with mesh opening dimension of 0.4mm to 0.8mm is used in this stage according to each kind of raw material. If the grinded raw material is still unsuitable for production it will be collected for fine grinding one more time.

The fine raw material is then sent to the fine mixing tank where vitamins, minerals and additives will be added to the mixture.  The time required for this stage is 5 minutes.

4. Pellet shaping:

After the fine mixing stage, the grinded mixture is transferred to tanks where it is pre-conditioned and cooked by hot water vapor before it is carried to the feed extruder machine to shape the pellets.  The temperature required for the pre-conditioning stage is between 95-100oC.

5. Drying and cooling:

The pellets will be sent to drying machine to bring the humidity down to below 11%.  Then it is cooled off by a cooling system for long-term maintenance for appropriate time durations without affecting the quality of the feed.

6. Packaging:

After being cooled, the feed will be treated with enzyme spraying.  The pellet will be screened for elimination of dirt and under-sized pellets.  The finished product will be stored in tanks, and through the automatic weighing and measuring system it will be finally packed for market consumption.
